You will need to nominate a suitably experienced umpire to the standard and level of play in the division that you are graded, however this umpire will likely not be allocated to umpire your team. This cannot be a member of your team. However, your team member could umpire a similar grade in the alternate time slot through arrangements with other teams. HDNA by-laws require umpires at Night Competition to be 16 years or older. Badged umpires are preferred and essential for higher grades.
After grading and confirmation of time slots there will be further communication from HDNA confirming your umpire and your responsibilities for liaison with and payments to the umpire. Payment for umpires is a minimum of $25 per game.
